about the alex system

ALEX is a modular building system for creating individual furniture pieces and interior environments. Every part of the system is made by hand in our Brooklyn studio.

The system allows for creativity and invention for those who want maximum customization and a solid starting point from which to begin.

ALEX is for anyone who enjoys building but may not be a builder by trade. There are no tools needed to construct with. Each part is just slipped into place and secured with the thumb screws. 

The best part: Flexibility. Order more linear sections (the wood parts) to change any dimensions, or re-cut the ones you have from a previous order. Feeling like getting more involved?..Mill your own linear sections! We'd be glad to give you tips on how.
